These past few weeks have been busy as ALTR dove into the world of FinTech at a couple of amazing events. At Finovate Spring in San Francisco, we had 7 minutes to demo the entire ALTR platform. A big task, but some folks had some nice things to say about it. Here’s a great recap by our new friends over at Cornerstone. The conference itself was great, with dozens of interesting technologies on display and well-facilitated networking. It reminded me about how productive the relationships between mature companies and startups can be, when you make it easy for the two to connect – and Finovate’s short demo format works wonderfully in that respect.
We followed that up with a big presence at Q2’s Connect conference, their big annual customer conference which was in San Antonio. With over 900 banks and credit unions in attendance, they announced Q2 TrustView, a security layer powered entirely by ALTR. As part of TrustView, Q2 will be embedding ALTR in all of their products, and we are already live in some of them. Q2 has been a great customer and partner with ALTR for over 6 months, and it was wonderful to unveil what we’ve been working on together.
Coming out of these events, the critical role that ALTR will play in helping financial institutions meet their security, privacy, and compliance imperatives around data has become more and more clear. We’re excited to carry this momentum into the second half of the year.
